Rosen Inserter

Rosen Inserters are made of Disposable Plastic. It is flexible and that make it safer to removal of different kind of objects and/or wax and/or obstacles.

Duration of Use:

Patient Population: all patient population.

Clinical Indications:

• Symptomatic cerumen impaction resulting in hearing loss, ear fullness, ear pain (otalgia), itching (pruritus), tinnitus, or dizziness.
• Need to clear the ear canal for diagnostic or audiometric evaluations (e.g., tympanometry).
• Removal of non-organic foreign bodies when direct visualization is adequate.

Contraindications:

• Active infection, inflammation, or acute discharge (otitis externa or otitis media).
• Known or suspected tympanic membrane (eardrum) perforation.
• Visible trauma, lacerations, or foreign objects tightly wedged against the eardrum.
• An uncooperative or moving patient where direct sight cannot be constantly maintained. 

Safety:

• Discontinue curettage immediately if bleeding, irritation, or other trauma to the ear canal or tympanic membrane occurs.
• Do not reuse: if the device is reused, it may cause harmful effect or infection to patient.
• The device is for single use only. Do not re-sterilize or re-use.
• Do not use if the packaging has been opened or damaged.
• This device is not designed, sold, or, intended for use except as indicated or prescribed by a Physician.
